"We're renovating registration and triage care, which will include two new beds," said Lt. Col. Brian Moore, 3rd Medical Group emergency service flight commander. "The renovations will allow us to better serve the patients and ensure the highest quality of care." ER patients will still be located on the same location in the building but entry and waiting rooms will be located in a trailer in front of the normal waiting area. The renovations are part of Air Force Smart Operations for the 21st Century, or AFSO21, which is a term used by Air Force senior leadership for continuous process improvement and Air Force mentality. "We apologize for any inconveniences the changes may cause, but this will allow us to expand the ER and to better serve our community," said Maj. Jacqueline Berry, 3rd MDG nurse manager emergency service flight.
