Combined Federal Campaign deadline is Nov. 12

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska --  The deadline for giving to the Combined Federal Campaign at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson is Nov. 12.

The mission of CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost efficient and effective in providing troops and federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for others.

To date, JBER has raised more than $82,235, with an annual goal of $350,000.

If federal employees don't have a printed Alaska CFC charity listing, they can find a listing online at www.alaskacfc.org.

Employees can also e-pledge at the website. Registering on the site is a quick process which can be completed in a minute. Most Alaska giving has been e-pledge.

While registering, make sure to look for JBER in the agency listings, ignoring Army, Air Force or any of the other service listings which don't include JBER.

Every JBER command has a point of contact for CFC who can answer any questions and furnish employees with forms.
