Jay Hennette 703d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska -- Heavy Metal Knights of the 703d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron were hard at work outside the Boniface gate Thursday afternoon. Squadron members cleared 943 pounds of trash and debris from their Adopt-a-Path which runs from the Glenn Highway to DeBarr Road. The Knights clean the path once a month through the summer. "It feels really good to give back to our local community this way," said Airman Nicholas Venier from New York City. The 703d AMXS maintains the 3rd Wing's C-17s, E-3s and the 176th Air National Guard's fleet of C-130 aircraft.
