Accomplishments:
SSgt Swiderski has distinguished himself as a Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) Controller both in leadership and in deed. He was selected to provide support for the “TASK FORCE RAPTOR” on which he monitored and reported the maintenance progress of displaced F-22’s from Tyndall AFB. His action enabled the MAJCOM to have oversight on critical maintenance actions taken to return 16 F-22 aircraft to its mission-capable status. As a “go-to” MOC Controller, Sergeant Swiderski deployed to Kadena AB, Japan for the 2018 Theatre Security Package where his efforts bolstered the successful generation of 323 sorties vital to the security the Pacific Theatre. Additionally, he participated in the “CHECKERED FLAG” TDY at Tyndall AFB, marking the Raptors “Return to Fire,” which solidified the 3rd Wing as the premiere F-22 unit in the world.
Recognizing the complexity that goes into generating airpower, Sergeant Swiderski created a conversion program that combined multiple databases into one product allowing a “One-Stop Shop” for the commanders and aircraft production managers. He also authored the training continuity books within the MOC which expedited the training of new MOC personnel during high turnover, while also offering a quality refresher training to a MOC personnel who needs it.
Finally, Sergeant Swiderski’s passion is not spent only at work. He is an avid volunteer at the Beans CafĂ©, where he runs bi-annual food drives and volunteers to help those in-need at the local shelter. Being born and raised in Anchorage, AK, he feels it is of utmost importance to give back to the community that supports the military members.
