Previous Assignments: Elmendorf AFB (2004-2007), Fairchild AFB (2007-2015), JBER (2015- Present)

Accomplishments:  TSgt Kirchner was the Lead design technician for the F-22 LAU-142 AVEL lock-out device. His ingenuity enabled the creation of a user friendly, durable, and repeatable safing device being adopted by the Air Force and utilized fleet wide. Additionally he programmed, modeled, and 3D printed using the latest innovation in additive manufacturing modeling capabilities. Finally his efforts prevented the un-commanded AVEL deployment during servicing mitigating injury to personnel and ultimately eliminated an $8M Lockheed Initiative.
