Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson service members and personnel participate in the Teal Flag Project at the JBER Commissary, Alaska, April 11, 2017. The Teal Flag Project is a silent exhibit illustrating the number of sexual assaults in a given fiscal year. Each of the 3,828 flags planted represent a survivor who reported a sexual assault through the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office and the Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Prevention programs across the Air Force and Army departments during fiscal year 2015.
