MD5 Boot Camp inspires Airmen-driven innovation
Teams present potential innovative solutions to the 673d Air Base Wing commander and leadership panel during an MD5 Boot Camp at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Feb. 7, 2019. The intensive workshop hosted by the 673d Air Base Wing gave 40 innovators – service members and civilian employees from JBER and Eielson Air Force Base – an opportunity to focus on generating new ideas, nurturing talent and finding new applications of technology. Because of the course’s interactive lecture series and unique design, attendees were able to strategize viable solutions addressing one of the commander’s top priorities in less than four days.
