The Arctic Warrior of the Week for May 11, 2018 is A1C Armando Mendoza from 673 ABW/JA.

Recent accomplishments
- A1C Mendoza is one of five paralegals assigned to the Military Justice Section, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Legal Office, where he assists First Sergeants and Commanders in the administration of non-judicial punishment and courts-martial. As a brand new court paralegal, A1C Mendoza was assigned one General Court-Marital and three Special Courts-Marital, while simultaneously managing, overseeing, and training new paralegals on the Article 15 program. His leadership was recognized by his NCOIC and LOS for flawlessly completing his first court-martial with minimal help. For these actions, A1C Mendoza was hand selected to attend the Paralegal Litigation Support course at the Naval Justice School. A1C Mendoza also is dedicated to his upgrade training and is on course to be upgraded 9 months ahead of the standard. Additionally, he recently scored 90 percent on his CDC end of course test. A1C Mendoza is also actively involved in the local community as a youth soccer coach for 11 children and a coach for the University of Alaska-Anchorage League of Legends team. Lastly, he was selected to go on a C-17 incentive flight and shadow the 673 ABW Command Chief.
