Recent accomplishments
- A1C Rote is a Pavements & Equipment Apprentice for the 773d Civil Engineer Squadron. Assigned to the snow removal team, he reorganized $850K of airfield maintenance and snow removal supplies and assembled a tri-level, $150K deicer storage rack. His actions boosted warehouse capacity by 300 percent. Additionally, he was pivotal in clearing 5 inches of snow from 4.8 million square yards of airfield surfaces, which directly impacted over 200 aircraft movements. Finally, A1C Rote hauled 140 tons of snow from JBER streets, parking lots and sidewalks providing the safe movement of over 30K daily travelers.
