- Any service member or dependent at JBER who has COVID symptoms should be tested. Self-referral drive-up testing offered at the JBER Respiratory Clinic. Mon - Sun 7 A.M. - 3 P.M.
- Further reduction of garrison and tenant services--we are working to find ways to provide virtual services as much as possible
- Commissary and AAFES resources will remain available with current mitigating efforts in place

The 673d Communications Squadron is widely regarded as the premier communications unit in the Alaska AOR. The squadron is made up of 176 military and 72 civilians, serves as they host base communications authority on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson where it supports the 673d Air base Wing, 3rd Wing, 477th Fighter Group, 176th Air National Guard Wing, and 29 tenant units sustaining a $9 billion aircraft fleet. Across the Alaskan NORAD region, the unit serves the 11th Air Force, Alaskan Command, and US Army Alaska.
