Spill the beans: Annual exercise readies JBER

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Clayton Cook, 611th Civil Engineer Squadron water, fuels and system maintenance quality assurance, and Staff Sgt. Angelica Figueroa, 611th CES structural journeyman, test a skimmer during the annual Fall Spill Drill at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 30, 2018. The exercise was conducted to test the response actions of base recovery agencies in the event of a mass fuel spill, to ensure installation safety and minimal environmental impact.
