CSM FRANK E.W. HACKER

CSM Hacker, a native of Wilson, Kansas, graduated from Wilson High School
before entering the military on April 21, 1986. CSM Hacker completed basic
training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Benning, GA. His
first assignment was to the 3rd Battalion 27th Infantry Regiment, 7th
Infantry Division, Fort Ord, CA. His other assignments include: Fort Riley,
Kansas, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 5th Ranger
Training Battalion, Dahlonega, GA, Reserve Officers' Training Corps at the
University of Kansas and the Battalion Command Sergeant Major for 1-504
Parachute Infantry Regiment and 3-21 Infantry Battalion.

CSM Hacker's military and duty positions include: Rifleman, Grenadier, Team
Leader, Squad Leader, Long Range Surveillance Team Leader (LRSD),
Noncommissioned Officer Academy (NCOA) Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, Ranger
Instructor (RI), Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Instructor, First
Sergeant, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, Operations Group Command
Sergeant Major and Commandant of an NCOA.

CSM Hacker's awards include the Bronze Star Medal (BSM) (4th Award),
Defense Meritorious Service Medal (DSCM), the Meritorious Service Medal
(MSM) (6th Award), the Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM) (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal (NDSM), the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (NCOPD), the Army Service Ribbon (ASR), the Overseas Service Ribbon (OSR), the Saudi Arabia Kuwait Liberation Medal (SAKULIBM), the Kuwait Liberation Medal (KUKULIBM), the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (GWOT-E), the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (GWOT-S), the Expert Infantryman Badge (EIB), the Combat Infantry Badge
