Chief Master Sergeant Ernest A. Dinolfo

Chief Master Sergeant Ernest A. Dinolfo is the Commandant of the Elmendorf Professional Military Education (PME) Center of Excellence, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He leads a team of 17 enlisted professionals and oversees the operations of the Airman Leadership School and the Noncommissioned Officer Academy. The PME Center graduates 804 students and enables the award of over 7,600 Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) credits per year. Chief Dinolfo’s PME Center cadre provides the highest quality education to shape supervisory, communication, and leadership skills for Senior Airmen, Staff Sergeants, and Technical Sergeants, ensuring they are prepared for increased leadership responsibilities, greater understanding of the profession of arms, and to become professional war-fighting Airmen who can lead and manage Air Force units in the employment of air, space, and cyberspace power. The diverse nature and location of the joint base facilitates attendance of U.S. Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force Guard and Reserve, and Royal Canadian Air Force enlisted professionals, providing a Total Force experience.

Chief Dinolfo enlisted in the Air Force in September 1998 and his background includes various duties in the Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and Cyber Operations career fields. He also served as Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Protocol, an Academy Military Trainer, and has held various senior enlisted positions. Chief Dinolfo has deployed in support of Operations NORTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, a United States Southern Command Forward Operating Location, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, and North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) Resolute Support mission. Prior to his current position, he served as Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Air Operations Center Director and Air Force Element (AFELM), NATO Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), Uedem, Germany.
