JBER COVID TESTING PROCEDURES

The 673 MDG is offering ‘drive-up’ self-referral COVID testing for symptomatic patients at the JBER Respiratory Clinic (RC).

The self-referral option is for patients with symptoms to include any ONE of the following:  cough, sore throat, fever, feeling feverish, new/not typical headache, new fatigue, body aches, chills, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or shortness of breath.

If you are experiencing any of the described symptoms, you do NOT need to call the Appointment Line to be screened prior to being tested for COVID at the RC.

*COVID Self-Referral is reserved for symptomatic patients as described above.  For individuals who are NOT symptomatic, but are concerned about potentially being exposed to COVID, please contact Public Health at:  usaf.jber.673-mdg.mbx.public-health@mail.mil

Symptomatic Self-Referral Process:

  1. Drive to the RC located next to the Emergency Room (signs are present to help find location)
  2. Park in the RC-designated parking lot
  3. Follow check-in procedures on available signage

Open: 7 days-a-week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

New: Nurse will be available at RC for symptom concerns and/or questions.

Results: All COVID lab result notifications will be done by the Respiratory Clinic. This is for both negative and positive results but results can take several days to come back from state lab. We recommend calling RC if you do not have your results 7 days after being tested. RC: 580-2622.
