JBER defenders host commander immersion

U.S. Air Force Col. Kirsten Aguilar, the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and 673d Air Base Wing commander, looks through a scope while U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Lee Mills, the JBER and 673d ABW command chief, fires an M24 sniper rifle under the instruction of U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Spencer Thorpe, a 673d Security Forces Squadron combat arms instructor, during an immersion with the 673d SFS at JBER, Alaska, Feb. 2, 2021. The tour familiarized base leadership with the 673d SFS and its role in maintaining the safety of the JBER community and security of the installation and its resources.
