Evaluation team uses non-destructive testing on JBER Airfields
An Air Force Civil Engineer Center’s Airfield Pavement Evaluation Team uses a special heavy falling weight Dynatest deflectometer during an evaluation of Bryant Army Airfield at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska Dec. 17, 2018. The two-person team used non-destructive testing to assess potential non-visible pavement damage at all of JBER’s airfields following the Nov. 30, 7.0 magnitude earthquake, whose epicenter was located just north of the base.
