Outdoor Adventure Program ‘Rock On’ trip kicks off climbing season

Army Maj. Adrien Humphreys, a member of the 611th Air Operations Center current operations team, picks up rock-climbing shoes before a climbing trip scheduled with the Outdoor Adventure Program at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, May 31, 2018. Humphreys has participated in many of OAP’s guided events since being stationed at JBER but has never climbed rock. The OAP offers many opportunities year-round for the JBER community to explore Alaska while also supporting the development of mission-ready military families and members.
