Alaska troops compete in annual combat fishing tournament

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Yvette Germany, a 673d Medical Group administrative technician, stands with William Gentry, captain of the vessel ‘Predator,’ as they receive the first place trophy from ‘Nauti Girl’ Capt. John Moline for largest fish during the 2018 Armed Services YMCA of Alaska Combat Fishing Tournament in Seward, Alaska, May 24, 2018. The winning fish weighed in at 90.7 pounds. This is Germany’s first time participating in the tournament. The tournament was established as a way of showing thanks and honor to service members through an opportunity to go deep-sea fishing.
