Spartan paratroopers go airborne over JBER

A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III, assigned to the 517th Airlift Squadron, flies towards Mount Susitna after dropping paratroopers assigned to the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, over Malemute drop zone, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 9, 2018. The C-17 Globemaster III is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area.
