JBER receives NOAA recovery hero award

Doug Mecum, Deputy Regional Administrator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association Fisheries in Alaska and Air Force Col. George T.M. Dietrich III, the JBER commander and 673d Air Base Wing commander awards Christie Osburn, with the 673d Civil Engineer Squadron a plaque in recognition of JBER being the NOAA’s Species in the Spotlight Recovery Hero. NOAA chose to recognize JBER first because of the effectiveness of their ongoing partnership over the past thirty years.
