Hillberg Opening 2017

Karl Lavtar, Outdoor Adventure Program lead, instructs children at the Hillberg Ski Area before their first day of youth snow sports lessons at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Dec. 1, 2017. The Kennecott Youth Center and Hillberg partnered up to provide children transportation to and from each facility, equipment rentals, and two-hour instruction on how to ski or snowboard.
