The Boniface Visitor Control Center will close for major construction Feb. 15, 2021 through January 2022. The JBER Boniface Gate will remain open for vehicle traffic until July 2021 when it will close for approximately six weeks.

The nearly yearlong construction project includes a new Visitor Control Center and larger parking area which aim to enhance customer service upon completion.

The six-week closure of the Boniface Gate is due to the parking lot expansion and realigning the inbound and outbound traffic lanes.

Effective Feb. 15, all visitor passes will be issued at the Richardson Visitor Control Center near the JBER Richardson Gate. The Richardson VCC will be operational 24/7.

Sponsors can streamline the visitor pass issuance process by viewing the “Requesting Visitor Access” section at https://www.jber.jb.mil/Units/673abw/673SFS/
